Move to Support Meaningful Missions

Uplifting Community-Building Fitness opened its doors on January 3, 2023!

At Uplifting Community-Building Fitness, we offer in-person and virtual workouts with profits benefiting charitable causes in Johnson County, IN and beyond.

We are here to build community - lifting up community causes we care about and creating connections with one another. Watch for casual social gatherings and opportunities to build relationships with the strong women (and men) who support us.

Note that we like to share our stage so if you're a class participant who likes the limelight, we invite you to hop on stage with us and get down with our team of instructors! Also, if you are a fitness instructor, we love to invite guest instructors in to raise awareness for their services and class offerings, as well as raise awareness for our monthly charity.

Book your spot to join us in-person at Grace United Methodist Church- Franklin, IN, located at 1300 E Adams Dr, Franklin, IN 46131 or virtually on Zoom.

Use the site navigation to check out our classes, passes, and view the daily or weekly schedule. You'll also find a list of equipment needs if you're joining in-person or online.

We appreciate your grace as we grow!

We will do our best to reply to you within 24-48 hours as this is a business in it's infancy and does not have full time staff.

Let's get Fit for Good!

Meet Bry

I am Bryana Schreiber, but you can call me Bry!

While I work full-time as the program director for a statewide organization and teach as an adjunct professor at Franklin College, my main goal is to show up as a community-builder who is committed to making a difference. I love my community and want to empower others, including my three kids to be changemakers. My journey as a fitness instructor started in 2015. I've taught at various locations  - including LA Fitness, Franklin Parks & Recreation, and the Sweat Shop of Franklin. I love that there's always something new to learn, but have truly seen how being active has the power to change so many other aspects of people's lives. Uplifting truly melds my passions for fitness, philanthropy and fun.

Group fitness is my jam!

I've added a variety of certifications over the years, but there's something about the community-building of a group class that moves people. Everyone contributes and makes connections through it. The energy is inspiring. This venture wouldn't be possible without the community that's supported us along the way.

Charitable Giving

The opportunity to give our profits to charity (we will still use operating funds to cover expenses and pay staff) is something I can only explain as FAITH IN ACTION - it is a true blessing made possible by our host facility and generous community.

We have selected our charities for 2024, and will spotlight and donate to one per month. Donations will vary by month, but we look forward to raising awareness for and getting to know different causes. If you'd like to submit your charity for future consideration, email us at info@upliftingfitness.org.

We believe we are stronger together, and look forward to building our community with YOU.

Shoshanah Riley (Sho) has been performing since the age of three. A Carmel, IN native, Sho has studied at various dance and gymnastics schools over the years including competitive dance programs with Barb & Company and at Carmel Dance Center as an Indiana Dance Ambassador. Sho has served as head instructor and co-director for Indiana Cheer Camps (ICC) and has coached competitive dance and cheer for schools/teams throughout Indiana.

After cheering on the Ball State University National team, Sho continued her love for performing as an Indiana Pacemate (Indiana Pacers) where she served as captain her final season. Sho's passion for group fitness began in the early 2000's as she taught her first Hip Hop aerobics class at The Workout Center. From there, she has continued to enhance her knowledge in fitness and dance by taking master classes, gaining new certifications & keeping up with evolving styles & techniques. Shoshanah established Sho'time Dance Company in July 2004 opening doors to kids and adults looking to have fun, discover new strengths/skills & gain confidence while learning dance & fitness. Fast forward to July 2021, Sho launched her new mobile fitness & dance studio with Sho'time Xpress!

In her spare time, you can find Sho performing on stage as a member of the band, Jayne Bond & the Pink Martinis. She also teaches classes at Studio 317 Fitness and Cycling in Greenwood, intructs youth on the north side, and keeps seniors active at the Otterbein senior living community. She loves traveling and experiencing new adventures with her family. You might find them on the Pickleball Courts in the summer- rain or shine!
